Mark Morford, in today's SF Chronicle writes:

"The Shrubster will seek to move the Mideast peace process forward yeah right whatever with back-to-back White House meetings later this month with Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, during which time he will get their names mixed up and mispronounce "Mahmoud" as "Mymoot" and will quiver visibly in the presence of bitter bilious hawk Sharon and flub his introductions and his squinty little eyes will twitch and he'll get that little smirky pursed-lip monkey thing going and both leaders will look at him, as all world leaders do, in mild and sighing disbelief and wonder at the mad potency and sheer frightening power of the violently corrupt and monstrous exec-funded GOP machinery that somehow managed to rig it so this blank-faced dork could steal the most powerful office in the world and embarrass the world's most prosperous first-world nation on a daily basis."

How wonderful Mark! I wish all true Americans could read this.

So, the President of the United States is a liar. I think we knew that all along. Those of us willing to look at the truth knew and tried to raise the alarm to others. So, his fiscal policy of cutting taxes for his rich buddies has plunged us into the dark ages of debt. The rich could have held guns on the rest of us to rob our government and not gotten more. They stole the future of our children so they could buy Hummers. This is the most inept person ever to sit in the oval office. He is a disgrace to the office, he is morally bankrupt. He is in short, a liar. We allowed this person to be the leader of our country. Our only remark when blamed for his presidency is that we did not elect him. He was appointed.

"Padding the Record Books

White Houses are forever looking to tout superlative
achievements, but here's a superlative you won't hear the
president touting on the campaign trail next year: his all-time
record for budget deficits.

On this score, the Bush administration is certainly in a league
of its own. By its own estimate released yesterday, the deficit
will hit a record $455 billion this year and surge to $475
billion in 2004.

In fact, if President Bush wants to run on his record, he is on
track to set plenty:

* First president likely to run up a trillion-dollar deficit in
one term: Yesterday, the Office of Management and Budget
projected a $1.9 trillion increase in the national debt over the
next five years.

* Sharpest plunge from surplus to deficit: The Clinton
administration delivered a record budget surplus in its final
year of $236 billion. Bush has delivered a stunning $691 billion
reversal of fortune in just three years.

* Most dramatic swing in long-term outlook: When Bush took
office, the 10-year budget of the United States forecast a
surplus of $5.6 trillion dollars, a nice cushion to have in place
with the Baby Boom set to retire. But after two big sets of tax
cuts and a variety of spending increases, a reasonable projection
of the ten-year deficit now exceeds $5 trillion -- an $11
trillion swing.

* Most jobs killed in a first term: The economy has lost 2.6
million jobs since Bush took office. He's almost certain to
become the first president since Herbert Hoover to leave the
economy with fewer jobs than when he took office."

How could this man possibly be re-elected? We need to get out of the Bushes and into the clearing.
