Apparently, the Bushies are preparing to mount a campaign of fear, to continue over the next year or so, to enhance their chances of holding onto power through the 2004 elections. They are beating the fear drum this morning by announcing that Al Qaeda is preparing to acquire nuclear weapons and strike us within the next two years. Despots and tyrants prefer to keep their subjects in a continuous state of fear so they will not hesitate to respect the tyrant's power and seek safety under his wings. Let's not fall for this old ploy. This country's freedom depends on changing the regime in Washington next year, or before if anyone is interested in impeaching them.
